A fine & rare set of Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs in the Gothic taste, circa 1830, upholstered in lime striped damask. The chairs feature intricately carved arcaded and channeled backs with lancet and trefoil crested rails. A number of these decorative elements appear in the Gothic section of ‘The Repository of the Arts’, a work published between 1809 and 1928 by Rudolph Ackerman.

Dimensions: 35 1/2 " H x 18 1/4 " W x 21" D

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age & use
