Napoleon III Wood Inlay Game Set
Exquisite Napoleon III game set made by Maison H. Pussey located in its day at 20 Rue de la Banque in Paris. The box itself is adorned with silver marquetry and brass detailing with mother of pearl inlay and the insignia of the maker on the upper right hand corner of the lid. The inside of the box contains five compartments for game tokens and dividers for up to five decks of cards. Each card appears to be hand painted and each of the kings, queens, and jacks are named after different historical figures. The set is complete with 49 mother of pearl game tokens and four decks of cards (two of which are complete and two of which are not but are beautiful nonetheless). Priced Accordingly.
