Today Chloë Cassens, Severin’s granddaughter, continues on his legacy as the official representative of the collection. Her moda operandi is to usher in a renaissance for both Cocteau and Wunderman, both stateside and around the globe. Below, she reflects on the influence of her grandfather on her relationship to antiques, considers the nature of collecting, and shares some of her favorite pieces from her personal collection.
