Remarkable 18th century pastel of a young French noblewoman in a fur trimmed gown with powdered hair adorned with jewels and a feather. Her costume and hairstyle are characteristic of the late Rococo period leading up to the French Revolution. On the verso, "La Baronne de Malarmé" handwritten on the back. The pastel is framed under original glass and encased in its original gilded frame that has aged with a beautiful patina.

Condition: Very Good, aged related wear to the frame. Slight curve to the upper right hand corner of the paper.
